Marina Corricella

Marina Corricella: The Village of Cinema, Color and Waterbikes

When it comes to Procida, you simply cannot avoid mentioning theMarina Corricella. This ancient fishing village is the very soul of the island: a maze of pastel-colored houses that seem to float on the water. Beloved by artists and poets, Corricella has become a global icon thanks to Massimo Troisi and the filmThe Postman, but today in 2026, this village also knows how to reinvent itself, offering unique and sustainable experiences.

The Magic of Colorful Houses

Pink, yellow, white, blue, orange: the colors of the Corricella are not casual. Legend has it that fishermen used them to recognize their home from the sea, a safe reference point after long fishing days. Walking on the pier means immersing yourself in a suspended atmosphere, where the only noise is that of the nets that are repaired and water that caresses the wooden gozzi.

What's New in 2026: Corricella by Waterbike

If you want to experience Corricella from a truly special perspective, you have to try thewaterbike. Imagine literally pedaling across the crystal-clear water that reflects the colorful houses.

  • Why try them:They're eco-friendly, quiet and incredibly easy to use — no cycling or sailing experience needed!
  • Experience:Leaving from the pier, you can glide along the coastline taking in the architecture ofSee(the typical Procida-style balconies) and the film's natural backdrops from a vantage point once reserved only for those with a boat. It's the perfect activity for anyone seeking a blend of relaxation, light exercise and breathtaking photos.

A Car-Free Village: How to Get There

The beauty of Corricella lies in its silence: it's a completely pedestrian area. To get there, be ready to discover its famous staircases.
