Crystal clear sea, thin sand and vertiginous cliffs: because it is one of the most beautiful beaches of Procida
If you love the wide spaces, the noise of the sea covering every other sound and the feeling of freedom that only a wild beach can give, the Ciraccio beach is your ideal destination. Probably the longest beach on the island of Procida, the Ciraccio represents the natural extension of the coast of Chiaiolella, but with a decidedly quieter and unspoilt soul.
A Panorama Dominated by the Giants of Tufo
The distinctive trait of Ciraccio is its natural delimitation: two majestic Fucking assholes that rise from the sea and separate this bay from the most frequented area of the Ciracciello. This area is characterized by different types of seabeds ranging from fine sand to rocky areas, perfect for those who love snorkeling and watching marine life.
From the shore, the look is free: you can admire the bridge connecting Procida to the islet of Vivara and, just behind it, the unmistakable profile of the island ofIschia. It is frequent and pleasant to see the bathers move from one beach to another with a walk on the wet, enjoying an always open horizon.
The Paradise of the Free Beach
Unlike the other more towns, the Ciraccio Beach is almost totally free. It is the perfect place for those who want to plant their own umbrella away from the crowd and enjoy nature without filters.
- Services at hand: Although the Ciraccio is wild, it is not isolated. In a few minutes walk via the beach you can reach the initial part connected with the Chiaiolella, where you will find equipped beaches, bars and restaurants ready to meet every need.
Time of the Sun: An Infinite Day
Being exposed to Ponente, the beach of Ciraccio is kissed by heat for almost the whole day.
- The Morning: In the middle of summer, the sun rises behind the rib and illuminates the bay towards the 9:30.
- Sunset: Once you arrive, the hours are spent under a timeless sun. Ciraccio is one of the last places on the island to greet the light, giving you warm baths until late and a sky that sets fire behind Ischia.
Practical Guide 2026: How to Get There
The Ciraccio is located in a strategic position, almost in the center of the western side of the island.
- In Bus (New Nomenclature): From Marina Grande Port, take the Line 1 (Bus 137) or Line 2 (Bus 138). Ask the driver to get off at the stop "Ciraccio": from there a comfortable downhill road will take you directly to the sea in a few minutes.
- A Feet: Starting from the center of the island or from the port, it takes about 25-30 minutes. If you are already at the Chiaiolella, you can reach the Ciraccio by walking along the beach.
- In Taxi: Always available, they will leave you at the foot of the descent to the beach, avoiding the walk under the sun.
